We are looking to recruit innovative architects and designers to be part of our Epsom Architectural Team.

We have positions ranging from Architectural Assistants to Senior Architects and invite applications from creative, talented and energetic candidates.

Located in Epsom Surrey with just a 10-minute walk from Epsom Station, our brand new ‘state of the art’ offices encourage innovation and collaboration, where you can build a fantastic career without the crazy commute into London.

Architectural Assistant – Part I

  • Atkins Architects are very interested in harnessing the creative power of individuals who would like to be involved in exciting projects grow with the company.
  • We strongly encourage and offer support to individuals through their Part 2&3. Our mentoring schemes are there to offer a work environment where personal and professional growth is possible. Our mentors have a wide level of experience that can be beneficial to all new starters.

Requirements for this grade

  • This role requires a recognized Part 1/2 qualification and the ability to work within a team to produce detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, concept sketches and presentation graphics. Self-motivated and committed individuals who can not only be clear thinkers but can also be a strong team player with a willingness to learn and improve is key
  • We are looking for individual who can consistently contribute to the successful delivery of a complex, small, medium and large-scale project. Consistency and accuracy in all work produced is highly desired for this role.
  • Highly computer literate, skilled in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications.
  • Excellent presentational and communicational skills both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills.
  • Ability to work within a team effectively and deliver tight deadlines on time and on budget.
  • The personal qualities required from the applying candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, organised and efficient with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively, efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to work with a positive and 'can-do' attitude, flexibility and openness of approach and willingness to work as a team player
