Responsibilities
- Provide planning, scheduling and progress reporting support to Project Manager/Director.

Close interaction with the project teams to formulate informed and logical master schedules to appropriate levels of detail and obtain information to update the schedule.

Appraise appropriately any schedule variance to Project Teams following approval by Client.

To interact with representatives of the Client, Consultants and the Construction Contractor(s), to ensure the desired project objectives are delivered.

Gather/obtain adequate knowledge and information about the business and the projects in order to make informed value-adding recommendations to the Project Teams.

Assist PMC Management with the definition and implementation of criteria for control and management of the project, in particular the project schedule.

Co-ordinate the development of project schedules with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Co-ordinate the progress reporting of project schedules with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Appraise schedule options for PMC Management’s submittal to the Client for approval.

Assist PMC Management in relating project schedule with the project budget and cash flows.

Identify and advise management of risks that may affect the project schedule.

Assisting the management team, design team and site delivery team in the resolution of scheduling problems.

Assist in co-ordinating and fostering teamwork between all project stakeholders

Assist management in establishing an effective and universal strategy to address major schedule issues that may arise with the site delivery team

Engage with the Site Delivery Team to ensure collaborative problem solving

Receive and review detailed reports on the project from the site delivery team, particularly programme related

Assist in establishing/delivering formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the Client and Company

You will identify all key sub-projects viz. preliminaries, regulatory approvals, design management, tender event schedules, construction management & post construction management. You will also identify the linkages in aforesaid key sub-projects and establish a critical path.
Requirements
-
Degree / Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
-
10 to 12 years’ experience, in which at least 8 years in planning.
-
Should have hands on knowledge in Project Planning like MS Project / Prima Vera, etc.
-
Should have worked on green field projects; preferably on big warehouses, stores, etc.

Administrative skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels

Should be pro-active and enthusiastic in all aspects related to project
