We are currently looking for experts to join our team in Saudi Arabia, to provide multi-disciplinary services and expertise to our clients on a wide range of onshore oil and gas capital projects. The work will involve project management, engineering, and procurement and construction supervision and we’re looking for people at all levels, in particular the role defined below.


Job Purpose & Scope:

Manage Program Integrated Master schedule in P6, preparation, finalization, monitoring, control and reporting of planning and progress. Proactively coordinate between EPC‘s planning, progress and Engineering, Fabrication, Procurement, construction team, ensuring control of the full scope of work and all Program  activities are planned, linked, integrated, analyzed, monitored and controlled against the plan.

Principal Accountabilities:
  • Administer P6 Data base
  • Integrate and link Integrated Master Schedule 
  • Review and admin OBS and EPS coding
  • Responsible for WBS integrity and Coding structure  
  • Review & Approve level IV Progress (Quantity Installation Schedule, Equipment Schedule and Manpower mob plan)
  • Analyse and Review Contractor level III schedules
  • Analyse and Review Contractor level III Resource loading (Quantity, Equipment, Manpower)
  • Organize Management schedule review 
  • Review & Approve all individual Project Engineering, Progress input to the Master Level III Schedule 
  • Review Schedule Forecast with IPMT and GES+ Contractor’s Senior Planners
  • Utilize Schedule Analyzer and other schedule analysis tools to integrate the GES+ Contractor’s schedule and forecasts
  • Review level III Schedule Changes Log
  • Review and Discuss the Schedule Analysis with Project Managers and Project Controls Lead
  • Review & Analyse Schedule Critical Activities with Project Manager and Project Controls Lead
  • Review and Analyse  look-ahead schedule and variance reports with Program Manager
  • Review and endorse schedule impact related to Change Orders
  • Chair weekly Schedule / Progress meetings with GES+ Contractor planners (before Management Meetings)
  • Audit GES+ Contractor’s Schedule Compliance
  • Ensure GES+ Contractor’s  ensure development of detailed systems turnover schedules in support of project objectives
  • Support site reporting requirements
  • Check the Changes into the logic relationships, using Contractor P6 Database
  • Maintain project schedule directory
  • Provide Schedule input to Cost Control for Cash Flow on monthly basis
  • Provide Progress input to Cost Control for Accrual on monthly basis
  • Provide all schedule input required for weekly and monthly reporting
  • Incorporate all B/F and external Milestone impact into the program schedule.
Organizational Relationships (Work Contacts)
  • Regular interactions with Project Controls Coordinator on Project Control interfaces.
  • Engineering disciplines, Quality and Procurement Functions
  • With GES+ Planners  
  • Interactions with GES+ Contractors on progress verifications and Schedule issues.
Independence of Operations and Decision-making Authority:
  • Has overall responsibility and accountability for the progress control.
  • Has high visibility to Saudi Aramco PMT
  • Able to work within a defined role with limited supervision. 
  • Exercises judgment in making decisions; know when to seek advice.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English);
  • Good supervisory skills 
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years broad Oil & Gas project controls/Planning  experience in all project phases (i.e.  FEED, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Close-Out) 
  • Minimum of five (5) years in Primavera Administration 
  • Minimum of ten (10) years Project Controls supervisory positions working for International Oil Company in the Owner’s project organization, 
  • Hydrocarbon Design Engineering experience is essential. Brownfield and/or grassroots facilities experience (Gas Plants, Refineries, GOSPs, NGL as an example) are the main focus.
  • Managed mega Program WBS, OBS, EPS Worldwide experience with Contractors in particular those involved in the construction of on-Island facilities.
Essential Requirements:
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.  Business degrees shall be exceptional dependent on position proposed. 
  • Candidates shall have the required certification and completed training relevant to the position being applied for.  
  • Hydrocarbon Design Engineering experience is essential.  Brownfield and/or grassroots facilities experience (Gas Plants, Refineries, GOSPs, NGL as an example) are the main focus. 
  • Applications from those with actual design engineering experience practiced either in Europe or North America are preferred
