Principal Consultant/Project Manager - Asset Management

Our Water Asset Management team provides asset management, regulatory, and technical, advice to a range of clients, both in the UK and internationally. We are looking for enthusiastic, client and solution-oriented individuals, based in either Bristol, Epsom or Warrington, to join our unit and expand our business. 
 
Our services include:
  • Strategic Asset Management advice, including maturity assessment and gap analysis, business process engineering,
  • Assessing conformance with ISO 55000 and providing certification;
  • Assurance for UK Water utilities and others
  • Regulatory advice for UK Water Utilities and others;
  • Investment Planning including development of risk-based decision making tools and methodologies, an prioritisation
  • Utility improvement projects, performance reviews and benchmarking;
  • Master Planning and Feasibility Studies

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



 
Requirements
Candidates should have a blend of technical, financial, economic, and project management skills to win and deliver projects:
  • Excellent client facing skills and problem solving abilities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal staff and clients
  • Understanding of current market and client needs including developments in technology developments, particularly related to asset management and water regulation
  • Strong commercial awareness and a clear understanding of the requirements of engineering consultancy
  • Robust financial and programme management delivery
  • Honours degree (or equivalent) in engineering or science related subject
  • Endorsed IAM assessor or similar an advantage
  • Experience of the UK Water Industry and international experience would be a significant advantage
  • Experience of providing assurance services and desire to develop as a Reporter would be an advantage.
 
The Individual
Candidates for this role must be open to UK and international travel and periods away from their home office on a regular basis.  The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate evidence of:
