Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Henderson, NV office as a Project Assistant II.


Provides full clerical support to team of professionals and managers. May function as a receptionist for department or office and be responsible for collecting, sorting and distributing mail to department or office personnel.


Types letters, memos and other documents, which may be of confidential nature, using personal computers and word processing software.

Reads and routes incoming mail, distributes reports and screens telephone calls.

Coordinates, schedules activities and tasks with other personnel at various departments and/or company offices.

Sets up and maintains files of documents and correspondence.

Makes travel and meeting arrangements, and assembles required material for meetings and conferences.

Makes photocopies and sends or receives e-mails, fax transmissions and other electronic communications; assembles documents/reports for engineering reproduction/submittal.

Updates and disseminates various internal reports requiring follow-up, as instructed.

Assists with designated clerical tasks related to unit activities.

Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Expense reports.

Purchase Orders/subcontracts.

Post company activities on social media websites.


High school diploma (or equivalent) plus three years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related administrative field plus one year related experience is required.


Good oral and written communication skills, good command of English grammar and spelling. Good organizational skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook and Excel or equivalent) required. Experience in an A/E Consulting setting is a plus.

Job requires ability to process paper/electronic documents, make photocopies and operate computer keyboard. Ability to retrieve and file folders. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.
