We are currently looking for an experienced, ambitious and proactive individual who is interested in joining the Atkins Global Design Centre (GDC) in the capacity of Project Controller. The position will allow the individual to work with a project controls team of experienced professionals.
The qualified candidate will be implementing project controls processes and procedures, and support the Project Controls Manager/ Project Manager in the delivery deliver the multidisciplinary projects to the agreed scope, cost, schedule and to the right quality.
Assist in the management and reporting of project finances and cash flow including:
· Use of financial database tools to collate data
· Prepare financial reports in formats defined by the PM
· Raise payment certificates and invoice templates
· Collate and monitor cost accruals and invoicing
· Track spend and contractor timesheets
Maintain project progress tracking databases and assist the Project Controls Manager/ PM in liaising with project teams to record and monitor task progress.
· Manage the release of incoming and outgoing correspondence
· Manage registers and file systems to ensure compliance with quality procedures
· Assist PM with keeping project KPIs up to date
· Assist the PM in ensuring compliance against the Project Plan and that the Project Plan is kept up to date
Other administrative duties include:
· Administration checks on deliverables
· Attend and minute project meetings
· Record minutes at internal meetings
· Provide a point of contact for project team queries
