Project Controls Manager
Our Salt Lake City Team is growing! We are seeking a Project Controls Manager who will be responsible to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain effective cost control and scheduling programs. This person will support the Leadership Team and staff as required to ensure the projects are compliant with Airport Improvement Program (AIP), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Passenger Facility Charges (PFC), City procurement and State of Utah requirements and guidelines, as applicable. Responsibilities
• Manages, revises, and maintains status of the detailed project cost estimate/forecast to include all phases of project execution from design/engineering, material/equipment procurement and deliveries, construction contracts through start-up activities and closeout.
• Participates in the development and improvement of project controls systems. Recommends improvements in systems, tools, and methods of project controls and project management.
• Establishes a project work breakdown structure in line with industry best practices.
• Assists in analyzing project control requirements as part of the bid review process to insure all cost control requirements are incorporated into individual contracts and purchase orders.
• Must demonstrate interpreting contract drawings and specifications, preparing cost reports, cash flows and cash flow schedules; participating in estimate reviews; and establishing and maintaining cost databases.
• Report to the TRP Deputy Program Director – Cost/Change Management, and will be responsible for the preparation of cost and schedule reports as required to manage the budget and critical path schedule.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction and ten (10) years field experience or fifteen (15) years of experience in cost control and construction scheduling for US airport procurement and construction projects.
• Familiar with the various contract delivery methods (for example design-bid-build, design-build, and construction manager at risk).
• Must possess familiarity with measures, concepts, and estimating principals, be detail oriented, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera 6, and with a program management software system (Primavera Contract Manager, Prolog or Expedition for example). Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the ARP project staff, owner, architects, engineers, contractors and other agencies are required.
