Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Project Controls System Analyst to join the nuclear team in Columbia, SC.

Job Description

Support the development of integrated cost / schedule project baselines; including decommissioning cost estimates, tier 1/2 proposals, project baselines, REAs, etc…

Work with a team, as well as independently, developing applications used by the Cost Management Group, focusing on automating project data collection, analysis, tracking and reporting utilizing Microsoft SharePoint,

Microsoft Office, Windows Server technology, Microsoft Visual Studio / development tools.

Support delivery of cost estimation projects in a matrix management environment as the estimation software technical lead project team member.

Development and continuous improvement of the Cost Management Group processes including; utilizing architecture design and development skills for process automation and enhancement; development and maintenance of SharePoint resources and associated applications.

Participate in development of systems architectures and plans that reflect business requirements.

Perform end-user training on systems and processes relating to the development of cost estimates.

Develop system documentation.

Develop and maintain document publishing capabilities utilizing SharePoint Online as the user interface.

Experience with Primavera (P6) and Adobe InCopy InDesign publishing suite desired.

Performs other duties as assigned



Job Requirements

Skilled at programming and experience with software design processes.

Strong skills with Excel including cell functions and VBA.

Demonstrated skills in: C#; ASP.NET; SharePoint Online; SQL; Javascript; REST; CSS; XML; Web Services

Good communication and customer service skills.

Travel for assignments in the US and abroad as required for extended periods from 2 to 6 weeks. Up to 50% travel.

Degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or similar degree



Education and Experience Requirements

Seven to ten years’ experience in systems development and architecture, implementation and documentation.

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Windows Server operating system platforms, Microsoft SQL

Object oriented software development

One to two years experience working with cost estimates.

Adobe InDesign and InCopy

Primavera P6
