If you’re a proactive, great communicator and you’re interested in providing support to the management of project documentation in the Offshore Renewable business, then we’d love you to apply for this role.
Working within our Energy Business in Bristol, you will provide the control, co-ordination and administration of the flow of documents within the team and between Atkins and its clients.
The role will include the formal issue of documents, keeping the various project registers up-to-date at all times, regularly accessing the clients’ document control system to extract information as needed as well as providing status updates and reports on request from the team in a short timescale.
You will also communicate with the team and the client on issues relating to document control. Depending on business needs you may be required to work across multiple projects within the Energy business, providing both document control and other project support activities.
You’ll be used to having a high level of attention to detail and you also will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Be a confident and concise communicator
• Able to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way
• Team player, willing to help out where needed, flexible and reliable
• Perseverance and tenacity, to take tasks through to completion
• Experience and confidence in use of MS Office suite of software packages
• Excellent organisational skills
• Previous document control experience
• Experience of using Conject or other document management systems would also be useful
