Project Management Analyst I

This position is located in the western suburbs of Chicago

 

The individual will be responsible for managing small to mid-size electrical construction projects throughout northern Illinois.

Responsibilities

Maintain action plans, meeting minutes, risk registers, etc. for Senior Project Managers

Contact vendors and/or subcontractors related to invoicing, payments, change orders, etc.

Work with team to develop overall project timelines and be diligent in maintaining the schedule

Utilize various software packages for contract management (e.g. change requests, change orders, etc.)

Lead the project closeout phase (document retention, etc,)

Assist PMs to monitor material ordering/expediting/delivery to site

 
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field

Must be articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision-making abilities. Must have good communication skills.

Must have a general understanding in the areas of Project Management, Building Design & Construction, Critical

Path Method (CPM) Scheduling, and Risk Analysis.

Must generally understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
