Faithful+Gould is looking to recruit a high calibre Project/Senior Manager for its Manufacturing and Industry Team based in Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will join an established team of project managers and quantity surveyors and will play a key role in implementing our strategy for growth in key market sectors across the UK and EU market.
You will have a proven track record in delivering effective and efficient project management services to manufacturing, food and drinks clients. You will show a commitment to continuous improvement through learning and development and help to develop new business opportunities as you broaden your experience and deepen your client understanding. You will be eager to make a positive contribution to our business by leading and supporting initiatives to ensure that we achieve our strategic objectives.
To join us you will need:
Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, food or drinks related projects, with the following skills required:
• Technical project management skills, preferably on manufacturing facilities
Degree qualified in a construction related discipline
• Experience of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities, and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
• Leadership of internal site based and design teams
Understanding of contract administration (JCT and/or NEC), and have successfully administered these contracts
Understanding of project governance, process and behaviours
Valid UK driving licence as this roles will require travel
Responsibilities
• Effective delivery of project management services in a Client facing role
• Able to act as the key day to day client interface
• Provide support to the Director and the team during the management and execution of larger and more complex construction projects through the whole project life cycle, utilising best practice methodology
• Establish and build positive and collaborative relationships with all project stakeholders in accordance with Faithful+Gould's values
• Support the preparation of fee proposals and bid submissions
