Atkins Nuclear Solutions US is currently seeking a Project Scheduler to join the consulting team in Los Alamos, NM.


JOB DUTIES/TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES

Manipulate and draft schedules, including milestones and resource loading tools.

Strong knowledge of P6 software usage (layouts, filters, grouping).

Develop processes and tools from P6 to allow management visibility into resources availability to ensure commitments are met. Baseline and status of each project being worked.

Proactive self-starter, with creative problem-solving skills.

Must have strong understanding of P6, position is a project and cost scheduler.

80% self-directed computer work. 20% meetings and working with engineers.

This position is for a minimum of 4 to 6 months with an opportunity to become a permanent opportunity.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma

Candidate must have 5 years of related experience


REQUIRED AND DESIRED EXPERIENCE

Six Sigma training is a plus

Accounting background is a plus
