Quantity Surveyor (Electrical/Mechanical) - F&G PMC at Navi Mumbai

Responsibilities:
 
  • Member of a PMC team providing support and advice to the Site management related to Quantity Surveying Works
  • On site and off-site quantity take off; verifications of quantities of all MEPF services and confirmation with regards to payments and variation works.
  • Review claims submitted by the contractors accordingly recommendations for the payment or rejection
  • Ability to derive rates as per given drawings/standard & specification/verify the same w.r.t current rates prevailing in the market.
  • Preparing/Maintaining a monthly comprehensive cost report which includes (RA bills, Project Cost, Contracts, Cash flow etc.)
  • Assist in provision of commercial and contractual advice based on the contract documents and industry standards documents such as methods of measurements (IS-1200 & NRM) & Forms of Contracts such as (FIDIC, NEC, CPWD & JCT)
  • Attend and contribute to regular commercial meetings with the client and contractors.
  • On site verification of final accounts submitted by the contractors and suppliers, adjusting as necessary.
  • Prepare estimates of variation works
  • Carry out cost estimates for alternative design solutions.
  • Ability to advice Client on commercial and contractual matters and prepare financial and commercial reports
 
Requirements:
  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or diploma in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or Science Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognized institution or university.
  • Must have 7 to 8 years’ experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Auto -Cad is must, any estimation software will get preference.
  • Excellent estimation and cost management experience
  • Be able to provide both summarised and detailed reports, on current activities and ability to present directly to the client.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Able to act on own initiative and proactive way
  • Candidate having MRICS will get preference.
