Railway Systems Manager

The Railway Systems Manager will have a minimum of 10 years’ senior technical and management experience and will assist the Employer in managing the safe modification or construction of works in or around the metro asset.

• This shall include the preparation of procedures to control the; NOC system, submission of documentation, supervision and inspections of the works in or around stations and the metro assets. 
• The Railway Systems Manager will also be responsible for keeping all engineering and as built documents updated and issued to the relevant O&M Contractor.

• Responsible for Systems Engineering Management covering the O&M Contractors Systems works package inclusive of Systems contract management, Sub-systems performance, Systems Assurance, Systems Operations & Maintenance and Systems Quality control
• Manage the O&M contractor's performance and compliance with their systems contract scope of works including day to day oversight, routine contract compliance reviews, change control and progress reporting
• Manage reviews and recommendations against the Operator's plans and procedures related to the operations and maintenance of the metro such as Maintenance programs, plans and procedures; Operation plans and timetables; Operation procedures and regulations; Safety plans; Training and staffing plans; Configuration management plans
• Manage the Systems team's reviews of all O&M contractor's technical submittals such as risk assessments, corrective and preventative maintenance reports, investigation reports, Temporary change authorization requests, Engineering change notice requests
• Manage system wide reviews of data and reports prepared by the O&M Contractor, developing trend information and making recommendations to improve the performance of Systems equipment failures
• Manage the O&M contractor's compliance with their Quality management system through reviews of technical documentation, test witnessing, site inspections and quality audits
• Manage the O&M Contractors compliance with their Systems Assurance procedures covering RAM, Operational Safety, Security, EMC, Interface & Configuration management through reviews of technical documentation, test witnessing, site inspections and scheduled audits
• Manage O&M Contractors system wide compliance demonstration with O&M standards
• Manage system review of the O&M contractors proposed capital asset overhauls or replacement procedures, proposals and site activities
• Lead systems teams review of systems variation requests and the implementation of change control procedure with the O&M contractor
