Recruitment Advisor - (UAE Nationals Only)

Atkins has recently secured several large projects in the Middle East.  As we move into this significant period of growth, we are looking to expand the capabilities of our in-house recruitment team.  As a Recruitment Advisor based in our Dubai office, you will be given the opportunity to demonstrate your recruitment expertise whilst working on some high profile projects throughout the region.

 

Please note candidates must be able to clearly demonstrate their experience in a recruiting / resourcing capacity in either an in-house role and / or agency.

 

Candidates with limited experience in this area or purely HR experience will not be considered.

 

This role is for UAE Nationals Only, holding a Family Book.



Core Responsibilities:
  • Support the recruitment activities of our Middle East region
  • Build and maintain high quality effective relationships with Hiring Managers, HR colleagues and to proactively identify resourcing needs within the region.
  • Follow company standards, policies and procedures
  • Provide resourcing and selection advice to line managers and HR colleagues
Ensure that vacancies are filled quickly and efficiently, in line with key performance indicators (KPIs). KPIs will include the following:
 
Time to source
Offers made
Offers accepted / rejected
Number of hires per business
Time to offer
Cost of hire
Source of hire
  • Manage the relationships with selected external recruitment suppliers.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with suitable candidates during the recruitment process, ensuring Atkins is perceived as an employer of choice.
  • Assist hiring managers with interviewing and other selection processes to ensure appropriate hiring decisions are made.
  • Manage a full end to end recruitment process
     
    Core Requirements:
  • Experience of managing volume recruitment (ideally within a design engineering consultancy or related organization) 
  • Strong understanding of engineering disciplines to include Property, Infrastructure and Rail
  • Ability to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of individual job functions for both design and supervision staffing requirements.
  • Utilisation of recruitment management system – Taleo is desirable
  • Demonstrable experience of direct sourcing of candidates through utilising a variety of methods; including on-line and off-line advertising, internet search (data mining), database searching
  • An understanding of Web 2.0 methodology etc (Google adwords/Social Media etc would be an advantage
  • Ability to work autonomously is essential
  • Ability to multi-task and respond positively to pressure
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written and verbal)
  • Confident, tenacious and resilient
  • Driven, highly organized with excellent prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Culturally aware
  • Arabic language skills are high advantageous
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and the Microsoft suite of packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc)
  • Willingness to travel as and when required
