The contingent workforce team are responsible for the recruitment and management of all categories of temporary workers, including agency workers, contractors and sub-consultants.


This opportunity would suit someone who takes a pride in maintaining service delivery within a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their working week and wants to contribute to the success of Atkins as part of their award winning recruitment team.


The Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for supporting 3 Recruitment Advisors, based in our central Birmingham office, 37.5 hours a week to start asap on a fixed term contract for 6 months.



Requirements
Proven co-ordination and administration expertise ideally gained within a recruitment environment that demonstrates:
• The capability to plan and schedule work in line with changing priorities
• Ability to work with high volume workload and tight deadlines
• Strong administrative and organisation skills, ideally gained from within a recruitment / HR environment
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience of using recruitment management systems would be advantageous e.g. Taleo, Workday
• Customer focused with a ‘can do’ attitude
• A strong sense of attention to detail with a focus on service delivery

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the activities will include, but not be limited to the following:
• Provide operational day to day support to 3 Recruitment Advisors
• Receive requisition details from the Recruitment Advisors or Hiring Managers and upload new roles onto Taleo.
• Send contract extension emails to Hiring managers, track responses and seek approval
• Generate extension Letters and Contracts under the supervision of Recruitment Advisors
• File approval emails and notify HR teams of new end dates
• File signed letters/contract documents as per Atkins retention policy
• Organise and schedule interviews as required by the Recruitment Advisors, to include, but not limited to; confirming line managers availability, booking interview rooms as required, confirming and communicating arrangements with both candidates., agencies and line managers, and updating Atkins Recruitment Management System 
• Respond to Line Manager queries in a prompt and courteous manner
• Ensure compliance to related legislation in all activities mitigating risk to the organisation
• Adhere to the Atkins recruitment policies and processes applying best practice in recruitment co-ordination activities
• Escalate issues and blockages to the relevant Recruitment Advisor, in order that resolutions can be sought
• Monitoring the Contractor Recruitment Inbox

Candidate Requirements
• Excellent English both written and spoken
• Experience in Recruitment coordination role
• Experience of using a process supporting system (Applicant Tracking System, preferably Taleo).
• Experience in administrative/coordination within a recruitment or HR environment.
• Experience of process management.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Process improvement skills.
• Ability to handle complex tasks and logistical challenges.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong prioritisation skills.
• Proficient in the use of spreadsheet, database and word processing packages – Word and Excel, and working knowledge recruitment databases (such as Taleo or Workday)
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Resilient and able to work under pressure
• Driven, highly organized with the ability to identify and focus on priorities and deliver to deadlines
• Confident, diplomatic and tactful – demonstrating high levels of confidentiality
