On this occasion we’re inviting you to join us as a Recruitment Partner to manage a small contingent workforce team based out of our Birmingham city centre office which is close to all local transport links.


The contingent workforce team are responsible for the recruitment and management of all categories of temporary workers, including agency workers, contractors and sub-consultants.


As this is a new opportunity you will be empowered to shape the role and define your key objectives to support both the overarching people strategy and your own personal and team development.


This opportunity would suit someone who takes pride in maintaining service delivery within a fast paced environment, enjoys variety in their working week and wants to contribute to the success of growing organisation.


 



What would we expect from you to deliver this role?

We would expect you to have a significant amount of experience and proven track record in both the recruitment and management of a large contingent workforce.
We would look to you to be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of employment, contract and tax legislation relating to the engagement of temporary and contract workers -including the Agency Workers regulations and IR35 rules.
In addition we would expect you to have experience of managing the performance of 3rd party suppliers by developing appropriate management information.
Previous line manager experience is essential.
Most importantly we would expect you to have the drive and ambition to take our contingent workforce team to new heights to support the changing demands of a growing organisation. This will include exploring automation and offshoring opportunities for our back office administrative processes that currently reside within the function. Current experience in this area is desirable.

This is a permanent full time role based in Birmingham however we may consider a 12 month fixed term contract.

Security Clearance: 

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview
