We are looking for an enthusiastic person with an interest in Quality, Health and Safety, Security or Environment to join our team of regional advisors.

As a Regional QSSE (Quality, Safety, Security and Environment) Advisor you will be responsible for providing consistent and effective advice on QSSE as well as actively engaging and mentoring the business / heads of departments and supporting other QSSE Advisors to create a multifunctional team.

This role is based in Bristol with travel around the South West.



Responsibilities
You will cover a range of QSSE related topics with a view to:

Working with Departmental Managers and Business Heads to carry out internal QSSE audits with their team and help resolve any significant findings
Engaging with managers to implement improvements for QSSE
Providing QSSE advice and support to the Business
Highlighting good practice and promoting this across all UK operations
Engaging with House Managers to determine where advice and support is required
Ensuring Office Safety Champions are providing the correct advice and monitoring of observations is carried out
Co-ordinating external assessments / certification and client audits as necessary
Carrying out accident / incident investigations as necessary

Requirements
An ability to communicate in a concise manner (written and oral) at all levels within the organisation
An ability to influence Management and engage with personnel at all levels
An understanding and knowledge of at least one aspect of QSSE, with a relevant qualification being desirable e.g. Quality Lead Auditor, NEBOSH General Certificate, IEMA Environmental Awareness (training will be provided in all four disciplines)
Excellent task management skills
An ability to take a strategic view of your region to ensure there is relevant support provided
Flexibility to cover other UK locations
Experience of various industry sectors
To undergo a security vetting process and obtain security clearance
