The Reward Consultant sits within the Total Rewards team which is responsible for ensuring we can attract and retain talent through our benefits offerings and associated benefit management processes. The Reward Consultant is responsible for analysing our current approach to rewarding current and future employees and creating data led/evidence led analysis and solutions. The role will cover multiple aspects across the different elements of Benefits, to which point the role holder will need to interact with numerous members of the Total Rewards team. The role will also support, or lead key benefit projects.

This role reports to a Reward Manager in the Total Rewards team.

This role is currently being advertised as FTC for 12 months.


Key Accountabilities
• Manage relationships with third-party providers
• Implement annual benefit renewals including flexible benefits programme.
• Create and develop reward communications (working with Corporate communications)
• Develop and implement new/revised benefit policies/processes
• Identify capability improvements and create training materials/interventions
• Keep up to date with changing legislative requirements and present the impact this will have on current practices
• Analyse internal and external data and produce analytical reports/dashboards/metrics
• Conduct research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
• Benchmark Atkins against industry/market existing standards
• Support or lead on benefit projects/key activities as defined
• Consult with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with HR Services and other HR functions.
• Respond to relevant questions/queries raised by internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Qualifications
• Educated to degree level
• CIPD qualifications would be an advantage

Essential Criteria
• Customer focus and service excellence
• Significant experience of working within a Reward role ideally Benefits.
• Analytical skills with articulate and creative thinking to offer innovative and practical solutions.
• Has very good relationship and communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
• Interpersonal/networking/presentation skills
• HR/Benefits systems knowledge
• Experience in implementing benefit change projects.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects
