The primary responsibility of Reward Consultant is to deliver the annual flexible benefit activities, which are forever evolving to service the changing business who have recently been acquired. Reporting to the Reward Manager you’ll be part of a successful wider-Total Rewards team and provide Benefits expertise for the UK region. You’ll partner with internal stakeholders as well as third party providers to deliver the benefit programme to 8,500 employees across the UK.

This role is currently being advertised as 6-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

Key Accountabilities
• System-led flexible benefits renewal activities
• Responsible for planning and execution of flexible benefits Test strategy including User Acceptance Testing.
• Responsible for detailed specifications including Payroll(s).
• The role will be responsible for analysing internal and external data to create data led solutions.
• Manage relationships with third-party providers
• Create and develop reward communications (working with third party providers and internal stakeholders)
• Support HR with benefit process including training materials/interventions
• Keep up to date with changing legislative requirements and present the impact this will have on current practices
• Pro-active trouble shooter.
• Consult with business stakeholders
• Collaborate with HR Services and other HR functions.
• Respond to relevant questions/queries raised by internal and external stakeholders

• Educated to degree level
• CIPD qualifications would be an advantage

Essential Criteria
• Significant experience of working with flexible benefits.
• Customer focus and service excellence
• HR/Benefits systems knowledge
• Analytical skills with articulate and creative thinking to offer innovative and practical solutions.
• Has very good relationship and communication skills (both verbally and in writing)
• Interpersonal/networking/presentation skills
• Experience in implementing benefit change projects.
• Experience in planning, coordinating, executing, and evaluating projects
