Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Henderson, Nevada Office as a Right-Of-Way Agent.


Major Function/Role:

Under general supervision, acquire land rights from public and private landowners; responsible for the research and analysis of land ownership documents and preparation of the acquisition package consisting of document forms or applications and attachments.


Job Duties:

Work involves representing the client and presenting the project to landowners, their designees, and real estate professionals; requires effective use of communication and acquisition skills to efficiently acquire land rights within short timeframes and applying procedures to situations of varying complexity. Research and determine vested land ownership Prepare the acquisition package. Manage work assignments, update progress using project systems and maintain detailed and accurate landowner contact records. Meet with public agency representatives.


Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration or other related field. Without a degree, ten years professional experience in real estate, property management or other related areas is required.

Special Skills:

Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills required. Ability to research and determine vested land ownership using public record resources, land rights research capability, ability to read legal descriptions and communication skills required.

Ability to communicate clearly orally and in writing. Ability to process paper and electronic documents and operate computer keyboard.
