We are looking to recruit a Risk Manager to provide assurance and support service to an F+G client. You will drive and embed a consistent risk culture across the Alliance by communicating and demonstrating the importance of robust risk management.

The role includes developing the Risk Management processes for the Alliances as well as assisting in the integration of the Project Controls processes within the other functions of the Alliance.

Responsible for carrying out periodic risk reviews, maintaining risk registers and producing periodic progress report information.

Responsible for coordinating with Client's risk team to ensure Alliance meets requirements.
Educates the Alliance team on Risk Management techniques to ensure full ownership by budget & scope holders.
Advise & Audit the planning team on requirements for QSRA standards.



Responsibilities

Timely production of periodic progress reports highlighting progress and main issues.
Provide leadership and guidance in the concept of Risk Management, maintaining their appropriate and effective application to all stages of the project lifecycle.
Deliver assurance activities as specified in the Risk Management Plan.
Manage and deliver specialist Risk Management support services as dictated by the risk maturity of the Alliance Project Team.
Actively promote a Risk Management culture and improve competency across the Alliance Project Team.
Manage the buying in of external R&VM support where necessary and that these are delivered to required quality standards.
Maintain a robust view of required levels of Risk Management services and assure that suitably qualified & experienced resource is available to meet these requirements
Assist the Alliance planning team in the production of periodic QSRAs as required by the client.
Liaison with the Change Manager to avoid repetition of activities in change process and timely transfer of items from risk to change. Working for the Head of Programme Controls this role is to manage and maintain the Risk Management function on the Alliance.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
