We currently have an opportunity for Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team in Riyadh to work on a range of challenging projects in our Building Services Engineering Practice based in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical building services engineering, from concept design through to construction issue
  • Carrying out design calculations on a variety of buildings within different sectors i.e. Mass transportation, buildings schools, hospitals, leisure facilities buildings, 
  • Aware of preparing technical specifications
  • Aware of preparing drawings for drafting by our CAD team
  • Report writing

Requirements

  • Saudi national
  • Minimum degree classification of 2:1 (i.e. 3.2/4 GPA or above) in Electrical Engineering. A further specialist (such as a MEng or Masters degree) would be an advantage
  • No more than two (2.0) years of relevant work experience
  • Drive and self motivation to achieve chartered status with the relevant institution
  • Drive to continuously develop your technical & behavioural skills
  • Ability to lead and work as part of a team
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge in analysing problems and creating solutions
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in English (verbal & written) within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work on your own initiative
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver to tight deadlines
  • Ability to influence others
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to make sound judgements

The Individual

  • Ability to adapt to diverse cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
  • Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
