This role is an exciting IT/Cyber Security opportunity supporting our delivery of secure privileged access. This role is an opportunity to gain exciting and interesting experience as part of our global security program, delivering innovative solutions to complex security problems.
The initial duties of the role will be to administer, support, troubleshoot and extend our privileged access management (PAM) service and a small-scale data leakage prevention solution. This role also provides the opportunity to build experience in other areas of cyber security such as vulnerability assessment and malware detection and response.
This is most suited to an individual who has experience with the delivery of information security services within a large corporate environment, however this role may also be suited to someone with a good background in Windows Server and Active Directory administration wishing to move from a general IT career to a career in Cybersecurity.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
We require someone with strong expertise in networking and authentication principles and standards, including but not limited to Kerberos and MFA.
The candidate should have considerable experience of working in a large, global IT team and should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the following:
• Managing Active Directory Users and Computers
• Permissions assignment in a Windows Active Directory environment
• Unix/Linux administration
• Proactive maintenance and responding to user incidents
• Troubleshooting and management of Windows Servers
• Setting up and testing load balancing and failover in a Windows environment
• Creating and maintaining documentation using Office products
The candidate will also need to have a good standard of written English and reporting skills
Desirable Criteria
Experience and knowledge of the following:
• Use of LDAP
• At least one Privileged Access Management tools (Bomgar PAM, CyberArk or similar).
• Data Leakage Prevention technologies
• Lieberman RED Identity Management
• ServiceNow
• Experience of working with McAfee ePO
• ITIL Fundamentals
• Common utilities for detecting, evaluating and responding to malware
• Good Visio skills for creating and maintaining documentation
Desirable qualifications:
• CompTIA Security +
• Degree educated
Responsibilities
• Onboarding new administrator accounts for the PAM service
• Train new users on how to use the PAM tool
• Adding new target systems to the PAM service
• Assisting with developing different connection methods
• Analysis and assignment of users to groups and user rights assignments in Active Directory
• Checking the PAM service status by verifying server and network availability
• Carrying out patching and upgrades of the Windows Servers and PAM appliances
• Carrying out test failovers
• Co-ordinating responses to incidents related to the PAM service
• Monitoring and investigating issues with DLP
• Configuring DLP policies in response to detections and false positives
• Adding and removing users to groups mapped to target servers
• Working with vendors support teams to resolve issues
