Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Springdale, Arkansas, Construction Management Group as a Senior Construction Inspector.
Under direction, organizes field observation and monitoring of contractors' substantial compliance with contracts so that project quality, cost control and established completion schedule are met by contractor. NOTE: Incumbents do not supervise any contractor activities and are not responsible for job site safety.
Performs non-manual field work that involves applying acquired knowledge and experience in the observation and monitoring of moderately complex construction contracts and the coordination of related activities.
Bridge, structure and roadway construction experience is a plus.
Preferred experience within the region is highly preferred.
Experience with previous site management is ideal.Education:
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and four years related experience. With Associate's degree, twelve years of related experience. Without a degree, ten years related experience is required
Good mathematical, communications, analytical, computer and organizational skills.
Certification may be required in areas applicable to work assignments and as required by clients.
