You will also share our passion for environmental solutions, and can work with our clients in making the most of our opportunities. There is scope and potential for international work, as links are being enhanced with our staff in North America, Bangalore and Africa. To succeed within this role, it is crucial to have a flexible ‘hands-on’ proactive approach to your work. As a senior member of staff, you will be required to be a competent user of the software packages for hydraulic modelling, mapping and analysis of spatial data.

It goes without saying that you will be required to have a good understanding of consultancy procedures including financial and change control, QA through checking and reviewing, and business development.

You will be required to produce reports as well as undertake hydraulic modelling and data analysis to support projects. On an on-going basis, you’ll be supporting our existing project managers and directors, especially on the larger projects where we provide a service internally. You will be required to prepare technical bids in addition to your own work winning activities.

From a personal perspective, it is important to be self-motivated and work both independently and as part of teams. You will be part of our Digital agenda, and expected to innovate and develop tools and techniques for continuous improvement across our technical practice.

It is important to develop and maintain internal and external client relationships. Clients are key to the success of our business therefore it is essential to have a willingness to work with key contacts and their project teams, and be able to work to time and financial budgets. It is also necessary to have effective communication, presentational and report writing skills.
