Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated
self-starter to join our team in Senior Cost
Estimator/Scheduler in Atlanta, GA.
Job Details:
- Will
be required to perform construction cost estimates; review change orders; and
develop, review and evaluate construction schedules.
- Will
need to be able to work somewhat independently in performing the role, while
coordinating with a large team performing program management.
- Will
have to be able to work in a program requirement, providing project controls
support for individual projects while also supporting the program.

Experience in working with project stakeholders including Owner/client,
contractor, design team, and internal project management team
- Work
involves detail analysis of a sometimes sensitive nature and negotiating
critical and controversial issues with top-level personnel within and outside
the organization.
Qualifications:
- Must
have experience working with cost estimating and scheduling software.
Experience with Primavera P6 is required.

Experience with water/wastewater projects is highly preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's
or Master’s degree in technical discipline with seven years of experience.
Special Skills:
Ability
to communicate ideas to management and clients both orally and in writing. Very
high level of analytical ability is required. Must be able to perform detailed
construction cost estimates on primarily horizontal projects, such as water and
wastewater distribution piping.
