Total Work Experience: 20 years + Offshore Oil & Gas Sector: 10 years (in Process Safety field) +
+ Similar position in PMC Org.: 3 years
Minimum Qualification: B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Core Responsibilities:
• This person shall be responsible to ensure compliance of FEED/EPC Contractors regarding performance of loss prevention engineering activities and safety studies for projects with the objective of achieving safe design and operation of facilities as per COMPANY/industry statutory codes and requirement s. He/she shall monitor the FEED/EPC Contractors' productivity, schedule and quality of HSE design deliverables and if necessary intervene to ensure compliance with project requirements. He/she shall be competent to provide technical advice for resolution of various project/engineering related issues, inputs to construction engineering and managing/reviewing/advising and mentoring other engineers regarding all aspects of HSE design.
• He/she shall be fully conversant in formal HSE assessment methodologies including Quantitative Risk Assessment. He/she must have significant experience in the coordination, contribution and close-out of HSE studies including HAZIDs, HAZOPs, SIL assessments, hazardous area classification, technical specification of safety and lifesaving equipment, dropped object studies, noise studies and health risk assessments. He/she shall have a good understanding and experience of the ALARP principle and demonstration of ALARP. He/she shall have experience of designing and developing specificat ions of life saving and firefighting equipment and systems, and good understanding of international standards and recommended practices applicable to all safety critical elements. He/she shall have experience in the implementation of independent verification schemes based on performance standards of safety critical equipment/elements.
• He/she should possess coordination/communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
