We are currently looking for a Senior Static Equipment Engineer who can share a desire to be at the forefront of the oil and gas sector and deliver outstanding projects. By joining us you'll be helping us to design complex new schemes, assure the longevity and integrity of existing infrastructure and deliver innovative consultancy advice to core clients, critical to the success of the global oil and gas sector.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Fully conversant with international design codes for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
  • Fully conversant with mechanical engineering design softwares such as PVELITE, TANK, COMPRESS, FINGLOW etc
  • Fully conversant with materials used for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and storage tanks
  • Work on static equipment design software for mechanical design.
  • Prepare and check equipment specifications and datasheets
  • Prepare and check procurement engineering documents, like tender documents/RFQs, technical bid analysis, purchase recommendations
  • Vendor follow-ups, check & approval of vendor drawings/documents and witnessing of factory acceptance tests (FAT)
  • Attend site visits
  • Checking of Interdisciplinary documents during IDC review cycle
  • Coordination with other disciplines as required, ensuring success of multi-discipline project parallel working
  • Preparation and estimation of equipment loads and foundation load data
  • Preparation, estimation and approval of bid man hrs estimation
  • Management of delegated aspects of engineering team
  • Grade A English language competence

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institute (or equivalent)
  • 12+ years’ of experience in static equipment design of offshore oil & gas related projects
  • Competent to carry out design, check, and approve activites in the Design-Check-Approve-Authorize cycle for static equipment
