Your purpose:

Are you an experienced engineer with exceptional interpersonal skills who thrives on working on exciting project delivery, who has an interest in the Nuclear sector? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We are looking for Senior/Principal Mechanical, Building Services or Process engineers with HVAC experience to join our Power New Build business to support the work we are doing across the nuclear sector, from Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C to fusion and science and industry projects. This is an exciting time for the Nuclear sector, with increasing opportunities to get involved in Net Zero work, interacting closely with our clients, delivering projects and bidding for new work.

What you can bring?

  • You have experience of large-scale engineering or construction projects, where you have delivered to time, cost, quality, and safety. Particularly in the detailed design and construction phases.
  • You are an effective communicator and are able to integrate quickly into diverse multi-disciplinary teams.
  • You are naturally client focussed – known for being able to interface with clients, understand their needs and convert opportunities into successful workstreams.

You are able to demonstrate the following key attributes -

  • Experience in the design of large scale, industrial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems (e.g., for nuclear or industry applications).
  • In the absence of direct HVAC experience, you have an in-depth knowledge of comparable component parts (heat exchangers, compressors, chillers, fans, blowers).
  • A degree in a related engineering-based discipline (e.g., mechanical/ process /building services) and a Chartered Member of a relevant engineering institution.

We’d love you to also have some of the following -

  • Relevant Nuclear sector experience and/or the desire to work in nuclear.
  • Experience of site-based operations, construction, or commissioning.
  • An enjoyment of writing proposals and bidding.
  • If you speak French that would be an added bonus.
