Senior/ Principal Public Health Engineer

We are looking for a Senior/ Principal Public Health Engineer with experience in building services from concept design to construction issue.

Duties

  • Carrying out coordination with the design team to ensure integrated delivery of systems.
  • Carrying out public health design calculations on a variety of buildings within different building sectors.
  • Experience in preparing technical specifications.
  • Experience in preparing drawings for drafting by our CAD team, and for ensuring that the drawings are produced on time and to the required quality.
  • Report writing.
  • Accountable for quality checking and implementation on own project work and that of others.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Public Health Engineering, or relevant experience.
  • Member of Chartered Institution (IOP/CIBSE).
  • Considerable experience of working in Public Health Building Services Engineering.
  • Familiar with public health design requirements at a variety of design stages and across a number of different building sectors
  • Conversant with GCC Codes of Practice, Regulatory processes, LEED, Estidama, NFPA, UPC and IBC.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and Green Building Design
  • Good team player
  • Highly technically experienced
  • Well organized
  • High standard of written and spoken English within a business environment
