We are hiring! AtkinsRéalis seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Federal Business Unit as a Senior Project Manager – Facilities. This position will sit in our Calverton, MD, Alexandria, VA, Denver, CO, Atlanta, GA, or Dallas, TX Offices. AtkinsRéalis has the depth and breadth of expertise to respond to the most technically challenging and time-critical infrastructure projects and the urgent transition to a low-carbon economy.

How will you contribute to the team?

  • Under general direction, manages complex and unconventional technology or delivery systems for a single significant project within a defined technical specialty.
  • Typical projects might include design and construction of complex facilities including design-build undertakings, major and unique structures, and Alternative Delivery projects.
  • Management assignments typically involve large, multi-discipline project assignments, including unconventional or complex projects made up several highly sophisticated and specialized technical components generating annual net revenue between $2 million to $10+ million annually and requires specialized expertise.
  • Projects typically involve high levels of Federal client involvement and complex technical requirements.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and technical guidance to Project Managers within assigned areas of responsibility to ensure that quality management and technical services are provided to clients and that performance targets are met.
  • You will also assist with cost proposals, coordinate scopes of work, be responsible for the project financials, and assist with construction phase services as appropriate.
  • Builds and develops client relationships and seeks opportunities for repeat business and/or new opportunities.
  • Mentors and coaches other Project Managers associated with project and technical delivery. 

What will you contribute?

  • Bachelor's degree in field(s) of practice, generally Architecture or Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
  • This level may be achieved with a minimum of 8-12 years’ experience in project delivery and technical professional activities, 2-4 of these working as a technical professional in the Federal Market.
  • 8 yrs. minimum experience supporting DOD projects and clients.
  • Experience in managing/dealing directly with DOD clients.
  • Experience handling projects in the range of $2M-$10M+.
  • Alternate Delivery (DB) familiarity and experience desirable..

SPECIAL SKILLS 

  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills, public speaking, and persuasive ability; very strong financial management, team management, and leadership skills; ability to manage and coordinate efforts of various projects to produce budgeted profits and overall results.
  • Possesses specific expertise to the extent that the individual is regarded as a regional or potentially national expert in a specific discipline, contract delivery method, project, planning process, design method, or modeling technique.
  • Personal computer proficiency is required.
  • Interested in candidates that have solid relationships with Federal Agencies, primarily with DoD clients (USACE, AFCEC, NAVFAC, NGB, etc.), including both HQ and Regional involvements.
  • Interaction and experience with local stakeholders required.
  • Strong design and delivery experience required. 

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS 

  • Professional Registration in field of practice preferred if available.

Expected compensation range is between $94,367.00 - 157,279.00 USD Annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
