The role

We are looking to recruit a Senior Project/Programme Manager with a range of experience to join our London infrastructure business delivering £ Multi-Million rail projects. The role will include managing experienced design and delivery teams for our clients or within our wider business and will primarily be based in the South and South East (Greater London based).

The team

Our Infrastructure team provides a mix of services including commercial management, project controls and project management. We deliver these services in five key sectors including Rail, Aviation, Highways, Nuclear and Utilities.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates able to demonstrate a high level of project management capability for their experience bands, who can ensure delivery to time and budget on large and complex design and build projects and groups of smaller projects. You will be a project manager with a proven track record in the UK infrastructure sector. Experience in development and delivery of new digital technology into service will be particularly advantageous. You will have proven abilities to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders. The appointed candidates will have a track record of successful delivery on a wide portfolio of projects. Experience of managing construction programmes and administering construction contracts would be advantageous. We are looking for candidates with experience of delivering high complexity Major Projects and we would welcome applications from high achievers from sectors such as Rail/Transportation, Construction, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Automotive, Defence (Command & Control) or similar with a transferrable skillset.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Extensive project management experience with a proven track record in delivering highly complex engineering/construction projects in a timely and safe manner.
• Well developed leadership, communication, negotiating, influencing and inter-personal skills, with the drive and commitment to achieve project objectives.
• Commitment to provide inspirational safety leadership and ability to deliver high standards on health and safety.
• Experience leading projects under a range of Contract types.
• Proven track record in establishing and building relationships with suppliers, client/contractors and internal stakeholders.
