We are seeking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a variety of projects in the rail and highways sector. You will be working on high value, strategically important projects. By the very nature of the size of the projects you will be expected to perform pre and post contract services for the client and form part of a team approach to project delivery. This can also be a fantastic opportunity for a chartered Quantity Surveyor looking to step up into management within a world leading consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre and post contract quantity surveying services for major clients
• Work as part of the transportation team
• Plan and organise workload
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of service delivery to clients

Requirements

• Chartered (MRICS) membership of the RICS
• Significant experience in either the Rail or Highways Sector
• Experience of either procurement or commercial management
• Good client facing and communications skills
• Experience of project delivery including internal budgetary control and particularly of working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
• Basic understanding of Risk/VE processes
• Strong understanding of standard forms of contract, particularly NEC
• Flexibility on being office or site based

Please note that we will relocate from our current London office in Euston Tower to the Nova North building in Victoria in the first quarter of 2019.
