Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Henderson, NV team as a ROW Agent.

Major Function/Role:

Support project managers or clients' attorneys by participating in land acquisitions and property appraisals, providing property management and relocation assistance to displaced families and businesses, and supervising the demolition and removal of improvements. Under supervision, represents the client to property owners and real estate professionals. 

Job Duties:

Prepares property owner notification packages for owners and tenants.

Participates in negotiations for the acquisition of real property.

Provides relocation assistance to displaced families and businesses. Assists in the preparation of relocation assistance plans, needs assessment surveys, and relocation assistance offer packages and claims.

Searches county court records for property title information.

Conducts property inventories and prepares property for sale or lease. Maintains accurate contact records, verifies title information, prepares support information for lawsuits, organizes contract files, and processes demolition information.

Obtains right-of-way occupancy permits from water management districts.

Supervises the demolition and removal of improvements.

Researches property characteristics, uses, and sales for purposes of valuation; assists with preparation and writing of valuation reports.

Performs such other duties as Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.



Education and Experience:

 

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or other related field plus two years of professional experience in real estate, property management, or other related areas. Without a degree, twelve years professional experience in real estate, property management or other related areas is required.

 

 

 

Special Skills:

 

Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills required.

 

 

 

Professional Registrations:

 

Licensed by the state's Real Estate Commission and Appraisal Board preferred.
