Due to our recent success winning a major new infrastructure commission in the North East of England. we are looking for an exceptional Risk Manager to join our highly successful office in Stockton on Tees.
This new commission is in addition to our existing portfolio of projects which range in value from £20m+ to £20Bn+ with a variety of high profile clients giving our team a diverse and exciting workload across the infrastructure, transportation and industry sectors.


Responsibilities
 Undertake audits of the Clients Supply Chain Risk Management processes and data
 Provide guidance to the Clients Supply Chain on compliance with the Clients Risk Management processes
 Provide the Client with accurate and timely risk management related information to support the Client’s Programme Management Office
 Deliver risk management services to all clients in a consistent and professional manner
 Assist the Regional Risk Management Lead in the development of the in-house project risk management processes, procedures and capability
 Assist the Regional Risk Management Lead in support of bids and proposals
 Assist the Regional Risk Management Lead in business development of risk management services.

Requirements
 Considerable experience as a Project Risk Manager
 Considerable experience of working on large infrastructure projects/programmes
 A recognised diploma or degree in an engineering discipline, in project/risk management or be qualified by experience
 A Risk qualification is desirable, such as APM Risk Management, Institute of Risk Management or C31000
 A background in the infrastructure construction industry would be desirable with experience of working on major infrastructure projects
 Be able to demonstrate experience in conducting all aspects of project/programme risk management including:
o Initiating, developing and implementing risk management processes
o Facilitating workshops as part of the overall delivery of the risk process
o Conducting Qualitative Risk Analysis of risk data
o Undertaking Quantitative Risk Analysis including Schedule and Cost Risk Analysis
o Producing appropriate risk management reports from analysis to inform decision making
o Training/mentoring personnel to establish a risk management culture in an organisation
 Practical use and knowledge of industry risk management tools such as: ARM, Xactium,Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran, @Risk, Predict! Software Suite
 Excellent facilitation and communication skills
 A broad understanding of Project/Programme Management methodologies and planning tools such as Primavera P6/MS Project
 An ability to develop client relationships and generate business development opportunities in conjunction with the Head of Risk Management
 An ability to work with limited supervision, both individually and as part of a team
 An ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of a project/programme, written and verbal
 Flexibility on being office or client / site-based.
