Your Background:

Safety Leadership competences with an emphasis in your career on leadership behaviours and encouraging a culture of individual and collective accountability and understanding. You pay attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Strong influencing skills and an ability to persuade by working collaboratively and flexibly with all stakeholders, showing appropriate interpersonal sensitivity, self-awareness and assertiveness.

These are allied with social intelligence, humility and leadership skills, including being comfortable with giving and receiving advice at all levels within a client’s business, from those delivering operations up to senior management.

Demonstrable understanding of the regulatory framework for a high hazard and/or safety critical industry – that may be UK based or may be another national framework.

Chartered Engineer status, or equivalent previous experience and responsibility supported by an appropriate training route and breadth of professional experience.
