Senior Scheduler
Our Colorado Team is growing! We are seeking a Senior Scheduler to work within a large scale aviation construction project providing various planning/scheduling related tasks including planning and preparing schedules, reviewing schedules prepared by consultants or contractors, measuring, reporting and analyzing progress including earned value methodologies and analyzing delay claim.

Responsibilities
-Supports the project team and stakeholders with time management and control.
-Establishes criteria for schedule development (schedule detail, work breakdown structure [WBS], etc.).
-Develops and updates summary level as well as detailed schedules.
-Develops lists of design, procurement, construction and post construction activities based on review of design documents, examination of site conditions and discussions with Owners, design consultants and contractors.
-Identifies major milestones, critical approvals and long lead procurement items.
-Determines reasonable schedule logic and constraints based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
-Develops realistic activity durations based on production rates and available manpower based on discussion with task owners and/or teams.
-Assigns resources (cost, labor or material) to activities and develops cash flow reports and resource histograms.
-Evaluates critical and near critical path activity sequences.
-Assesses actual progress based on site inspections.
-Identifies schedule changes and trends.
-Develops earned value reports.
-Suggests corrective actions and/or develop recovery plans when delays are anticipated or occur
-Prepares time and cost delay claims.
-Supports risk allocation and value engineering workshops.
-Prepares scheduling specifications.
-Reviews architect and contractor prepared schedules.
-Prepares post construction as-built schedules and lessons learned reports.
-Teaches scheduling techniques.
-Provides senior level general project management support as necessary (e.g., financial/operational budgeting, consolidation, analysis, forecasting; business development; pricing; billing; key client/consultant relationship management).
-Performs such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
-Work involves coordination, research and problem solving on a variety of projects with unique or controversial problems, the solution of which has an important effect on major organization programs.
-Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits. Acts independently on technical matters.
-Supervises and/or coordinates with other senior technical and support staff
-Interfaces with senior technical staff, technical managers, and administrative staff and managers as necessary
-Represents the organization in conferences with clients and prospective clients

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus

-seven years’ relevant experience
-Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision making abilities. 

-Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
-Must have experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects.
-Flexibility in approach to problem solving, listening to inputs, clear written and
oral communication skills are essential
-Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
