We are seeking a talented Senior Specifications Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating and reviewing specifications for engineering projects within a consultancy environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed specifications for engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Review and analyze project specifications to identify potential risks, conflicts, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure alignment between specifications and project objectives.
• Conduct thorough reviews of technical documentation to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the specification development process.
• Continuously monitor industry trends and best practices related to specification development and implementation.
• Participate in meetings with clients to discuss specifications, address concerns, and provide updates on project status.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors and subcontractors, to incorporate their input into project specifications.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and tender documents as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in creating and reviewing specifications within an engineering consultancy firm or similar environment.
• Professional licensure or certification in Architecture or Engineering is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to specification development.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technical tools.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work within established timelines and budget constraints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
