Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Tampa Corporate Tax Group as a Sr. Treasury Analyst. 

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE:

Responsible for cash management and banking activities, including wire and ACH payments, administration of the company credit card program and activities relating to the 401k and deferred compensation plans.

JOB DUTIES:

- Reviews and work with affiliates on preparing accurate cash forecasts.


 Meet reporting deadlines for cash forecasting, FX forecasting, and month end balance reporting.


  Team with Payroll, Accounting, and Benefits departments on 401k compliance, reporting and funding requirements.


  Support cross border bids with respect to Treasury matters as needed.


  Integrate newly acquired businesses onto SNC Lavalin banking platforms.


 Manage monthly and quarterly treasury-related close processes, including processing journal entries for multiple entities.


 Work in cross-functional and collaborative role spanning Treasury, Accounting, Taxation, Accounts Payable and IT teams.


 Monitors bank accounts to ensure the appropriate funding levels are maintained.


 Perform and oversee the compliance and evaluation of banking and investment policies.


  Analyzes bank fees, recommend costs savings and evaluate bank services and fees. Maintains bank accounts.


 Open and close bank accounts in accordance with Group Treasury Policy.


 Assist Treasury Manager to implement and monitor robust policies and procedures around all treasury, accounting and reporting activities.


 Oversees bank account database, documentation and signatory authority.


 Executes corporate ACH and wire transfers as required across multiple banking platforms.


  Assist with corporate credit card program as needed.

-   Performs such assignments as the Supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

 

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field. Requires minimum three years of relevant experience treasury experience. Experience with cash flow forecasting and Oracle or JD Edwards is preferred. Solid knowledge of electronic banking formats; experience with commercial online banking and setting up accounts. Experience transacting in multiple currencies preferred.

 

SPECIAL SKILLS:

 

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and keen attention to detail. Dependability of ownership of job responsibilities. Motivated, self –starter who is capable of embracing change. Requires strong PC skills and ability to work in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and Access. Ability to deal effectively and harmoniously with people at all levels of the organization and to represent the firm professionally.
