Atkins has been providing infrastructure planning, engineering, construction, environmental consulting, urban planning, architecture, and program management services to public and private clients across the United States for more than 50 years.


Atkins seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Fort Lauderdale, FL office as a Senior Web Application and Mobile Developer.

 

Major Function/Role

  • Applies full competency in software development, demonstrating broad knowledge of current database technology and computer systems.
  • Under direction, plans and implements software development solutions to detailed phases of major projects.

 

Job Duties

  • Performs work which involves conventional practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting client needs or difficult technical requirements.

 



Education and Experience

  • B.S. or B.A in Computer Science, IT-related discipline, or four years relevant computer programming experience after degrees in Engineering or other related disciplines.
  • This level may be achieved by practitioners with 4 years of experience since related Bachelor's degree or 3 years since Master's degree.
  • Non-degreed practitioners must demonstrate at least six years of direct experience in lieu of degree.
  • Typical incumbent has 6-10 years' experience.

 

 

Special Skills

  • Must have proven C# and Asp.Net, SQL Server and MVC experience.
  • Must also have proven Android Development experience. Asp.Net Core and Xamarin.Android experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

 

 

Professional Registrations

  • An industry recognized certification, i.e., Microsoft Certified Solution Developer preferred.

 

 

Additional Requirements

  • Due to the nature of work, applicant must be able to submit and pass a government background check.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
