SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Austin, TX Technology Group as a Sharepoint Systems Administrator.

  • Administers the Microsoft Sharepoint server (building, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting), and works with the Windows Active Directory Group to maintain consistency and standards within the environment. Working with the IT organization and other departments, this position applies industry accepted best practices, as well as principles and processes uniquely related to Sharepoint in developing efficient and effective sites. Ensures that IT global initiatives and standards are achieved within scope of responsibility.

  • Complex, varied, non-standardized tasks, processes, or operations.

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems or similar degree. Minimum five years network/system administration and PC support experience.

  • Requires enterprise level experience with 2003 Active Directory, IIS 5 and 6, Sharepoint 2007 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005; strong understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems, Exchange, and Active Directory; good understanding of network security and management frameworks; experience in integrating MOSS with a Microsoft Exchange Server environment; experience in Document Collaboration tools and company wide information systems; experience in formal Business Analysis and/or Business Process Engineering; excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate with departmental business units regarding all aspects of IT projects. Experience with setting up Single Sign On and Microsoft Identity Integration server is a plus.
