Solution Architect (Identity and Authentication)

The Solution Architect will be responsible for:
• Ownership of solution’s through concept, analysis, implementation and through to handover to Operations.
• Alongside the Identity and Authentication Manager, define and manage the current and future roadmaps for Identity and Authentication Services
• Designing and implementing cross-functional systems management, IaaS and hybrid cloud solutions, service and hosting providers including project delivery and architectural oversight.
• Identify, Recommend, Plan, Design and Deploy technology solutions or improvements that are scalable and future-proof
• Develop clear plans, budget and documentation for the successful roll-out of the agreed solutions/projects
• Develop a thorough understanding of the needs of the business
• Analysis of current problems and issues and propose recommendations for solutions
• Identification and handover of processes and procedures to Operations
• Ensure that projects are delivered to budget and on time
• Ensuring that a cloud first approach is followed when considering new solutions/services
• Strong collaboration with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment of strategy and solutions
• Act as a consultative capacity on new infrastructure initiatives
• Build strong infrastructure automation via scripted and programmed tasks
• Practical deployment, design and operations of security for cloud solutions

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in several of the following infrastructure technologies:
• On-premise and Cloud authentication technologies – Active Directory, AD FS, Azure and AWS Connect, Multi-factor Authentication, Certificate Services
• Replication technologies and DR architectures
• Infrastructure Security design and best practices
• Understanding of network fundamentals

• Proven technical experience in delivering and supporting enterprise class infrastructure services

Requirements:
• Ability to work independently, establishing strategic objectives and project plans
• Proven experience of a wide range of infrastructure computing technologies
• Experience in designing and implementing common/standardised computing platforms
• Experience in delivering, managing and supporting cloud platforms
• Proven experience working in enterprise-class environments
