Atkins is currently seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our Oak Ridge Team as a Sr. Administrative Coordinator I .


Job Description:

Provide administrative support and activity coordination to senior executives.

Provides administrative support and activity coordination to senior executives, acting as their contact/liaison and assisting with various functions.

Prepares materials for executive, board and other meetings, as needed.

Reviews and proofs various documents for internal consistency, edits and formatting.

Prepares agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for meetings, as needed.

Assists with preparation, review and revisions to communications to opposing counsel, other attorneys or regulatory bodies, contracts and other legal documents.

Composes memos, letters and other documents.

Maintains executives’ calendars, scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, conferences and travel arrangements.

Files expense reports.

Organizes programs, events, meetings or conferences by arranging facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers and controlling event budget, as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.



Job Requirements:


Minimum 8-10 years related experience in an administrative role supporting executive level leaders.


Experience working within or with contractors working for the Department of Energy (DOE).

Education/Experience:


High school diploma

 


Preferred Experience:



Associate’s Degree in a related field.


Some experience or general understanding of the request for proposal and bid process.


Some experience as a legal assistant or legal administrative assistant.

 

 


Certifications:

 
State Notary Public preferred.
