SNC-Lavalin Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Denver, Colorado Team as a Sr. Roadway Construction Scheduler.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE

Supervise the production and maintenance of roadway construction schedules. Provide support to clients in the research, review and analysis of construction claims.

JOB DUTIES

Review the Contractor’s accepted as-planned schedule, schedule updates and method statements for compliance with contract requirements.
Attend work session with contractor to develop Baseline Project schedule
Initial schedule review including durations, logic, sequencing, and methods statements. Provide written comments and recommendation to Project Engineer.
Review complete project schedule submitted by contractor. Provide written comments and recommendation to Project Engineer.
Re-review complete project baseline schedule. Provide written comments and recommendation to Project Engineer.
Review proposed activities, durations, and logic resulting from changes for the purposes of establishing a new baseline schedule.
Review monthly project schedule updates
Assemble and review as-built data and develop a current as-built schedule.
Prepare schedule reports and exhibits to assist in the evaluation of schedule delays and remaining as-planned work.
Provide ongoing schedule review and evaluation support through project completion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with seven years relevant experience; six years experience required with Master's degree; or ten years experience in project control or cost analysis with an Associates Degree.

SPECIAL SKILLS

Good conceptual design skills and the ability to communicate ideas to management and clients both orally and in writing. Very high level of analytical ability is required.
Roadway Construction scheduling experience is a preferred.

PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS

Certified PMI-SP, PMI-PMP or AACEI-PSP desired.
