SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business seeks an energetic and highly motivated self-starter to join our Henderson, Nevada Office as a Sr. Landscape Architect.

MAJOR FUNCTION/ROLE


Under direction, applies full competency in conventional landscape architectural work and broad knowledge of precedents in functional area of assignment. Plans, schedules, conducts or coordinates detailed phases of landscape architectural work in part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope

JOB DUTIES
  • Performs work which involves conventional practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials or procedures, or difficult coordination requirements.




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture; MLA or graduate level technical coursework preferred. This level may be achieved by Landscape Architects with seven years experience since Bachelor's degree or six years w/Master's degree; typical incumbent has eight to ten years' experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS
  • Strong technical writing, computer and communication skills; may be eligible for project management training
PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS
  • Registration as a licensed Landscape Architect required
