If you are an enthusiastic and driven Structural Integrity Engineer, and thrive on working on some of the most exciting and varied projects in the Oil and Gas sector, then this could be the role for you.

The Role

Joining our Energy business in Aberdeen, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including integrity management of topsides facilities, front end design, consultancy studies, and decommissioning. This opportunity is to provide onshore based day to day operational support to our client’s assets including live support and offshore enactment where required.

Working with key North Sea clients, you’ll be delivering structural engineering support to integrity management projects for all topside structures and subsea components, for both fixed and floating assets. You will be working directly with the client to maintain the structural integrity of the assets, and will be responsible for meeting agreed deliverables. You’ll act as structural focal point for client assets, managing the full integrity lifecycle of the asset including inspection planning, workscope creation, engineering condition assessments, anomaly management, repair prioritisation, and work rationalisation. Offshore inspection visits is a key requirement for this position.

Other key aspects of the role include working with others to identify areas for technical development, and contributing to the professional development program of the structural team. You’ll be building and maintaining client relationships, as well as liaising with other team members of the structural engineering team and other disciplines to ensure all requirements are addressed. You’ll be expected to manage your own cost and time targets to deliver high quality integrity management services to the oil and gas industry clients, and will continue to develop and maintain awareness of changes in the relevant technology codes and inspection methods throughout your career.
