What is NEOM THE LINE?

THE LINE: an exciting and visionary cross-border city in the Tabuk Province of north-western Saudi Arabia. The City will serve Neom Region: an area near the Red Sea and the borders of Egypt, Israel, and Jordan. It will cover a total area of 26,500 km2 (10,200 sq mi) and will extend 460 km along the coast of the Red Sea.

Landscape Architects are responsible for designing and planning outdoor spaces to achieve aesthetic, environmental, and functional goals. They will work on a variety of projects, ranging from architectural designs, building assets, neighbourhoods and anchor assets. Landscape architects take into consideration factors such as natural features, topography, climate, and human needs and preferences when designing outdoor spaces. Landscape architects also collaborate with other professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure that their designs are safe, practical, and effective.

We are looking for Landscape Architect candidates with experience working across a variety of seniority levels and specialisms to join our site team. Preferred candidates will have Tall Building project experience as well as prior experience working on project(s) based in the Middle East.

Landscape Architect

  • Relevant experience in a Landscape role, ideally in both the public and private sectors.
  • Prior hands on experience and knowledge of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment to varying methodologies (i.e. GLVIA 3, DMRB)
  • Competent in AutoCAD and Adobe software packages with a passion to explore the use of Revit, Sketch Up and Enscape used as a design tool and for presentational outputs.

Senior Landscape Architect

  • Prior demonstrable experience leading a team and engaging with stakeholders
  • Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes as well as financial management of the design
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe, and MS Suite
  • Prior experience leading a small team
  • Preparation and maintenance of program for design review and ensuring its implementation
