Technical Project manager

The Team
Our engineering design team's work in our South Yorkshire office supports a range of key programmes, including civil
nuclear (across the fuel cycle), the UK Submarine and defence programme, conventional and renewable power plant and
infrastructure design. The emphasis of our work is typically mechanical, but this is a broad discipline which encompasses
aspects of engineering including structures, process, hydraulic systems and C&I. We provide strong design and analytical
skills on projects and joining our team gives you a rewarding opportunity to ensure we win and manage the delivery of
challenging and varied projects, often for safety critical environments.

The Person
During your career you will have developed a strong foundation in engineering with an interest in delivery. You'll have
health, safety and security at the very heart of your approach. You will have excellent communication, stakeholder
management and influencing skills and will be able to manage relationships at a range of levels.You will want to engage
with all stakeholders and lead delivery teams. You're confident in dealing with complex client interactions and motivated
by a desire to contribute to the business through successful project completion - you'll understand what that means.


Requirements
Your experience will cover the project lifecycle. With hands-on experience of engineering and project management you
will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

The following additional requirements are desirable:
- Chartered Engineer, or in the advanced stages of working towards this.
- Hold a professional project or programme management related qualification.
- Safety critical engineering design experience
- Delivery of complex projects, within a professional services environment

Although the team is based in South Yorkshire, the wider business has locations around the country and project delivery
can entail presence at client sites. Flexibility on work location and a willingness to undertake project delivery away from
the home office from time to time is important.

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary it will be discussed with you at interview.
