Transit Field Inspector (Mechanical or Electrical)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field and seven years related experience including personnel supervision. Engineering design experience desirable. With Associate's degree, fifteen years ofrelated experience. Without a degree, seventeen years related experience is required.


SPECIAL SKILLS:

Must have electrical and/or mechanical field inspection experience. Project experience preferred with the some of the following specialty projects; Energy Savings Performance Contracts; Public Address System Upgrades; Rail Station Electronic Signage Upgrade; Cellular Wireless for patron Services; Fueling Facilities; UPS systems; TunnelVentilation Renewal and Rehabilitation.


PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS:

P.E. or CCM desired; construction inspection certifications also preferred.


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with HVAC and Building Automation System / DDC inspection knowledge preferred. Experience with Electrical 110 volts - High Voltage and Low Voltage inspection knowledge preferred.
